Did you know?
Your HERO Website includes an AEO Site Score, built into the SEO Site Analysis tool. AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. The score rates how well your site is structured to be cited by AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot when a prospect asks them a property management question. No other property management website platform measures this for you.

What’s the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, gets your site found when someone searches on Google or another search engine. AEO, or Answer Engine Optimization, gets your site used as a source when someone asks a question of an AI engine like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Copilot.
The two are related. AI engines pull from the same web they always have, but they reward content structured as direct questions and answers. Your HERO Website handles both formats, and the SEO Site Analysis tool scores you on each.
Where do I find my AEO and SEO scores?
Both live in your HERO Website’s SEO Site Analysis tool. Open your website admin, select SEO, then Site Analysis. You’ll see your SEO Site Score and your AEO Site Score together, along with details on what’s helping and what’s holding you back.
Click any yellow or red icon to see exactly what needs work and how to fix it.
Why does my AEO Site Score depend on my SEO Site Score?
Your AEO Site Score is your AEO Quotient adjusted by your SEO Site Score.
The AEO Quotient is the raw quality of your question-and-answer content. The SEO Site Score reflects the trust signals AI engines use to decide whether to cite a source: longevity, traffic, structure, and traditional SEO fundamentals.
If your SEO is weak, AI engines won’t treat your site as a reliable answer, even when your FAQ content is excellent. Both scores have to work together.
My SEO Site Score is 100. Why am I not showing up in ChatGPT?
A perfect site score means the content and structure inside your website are tuned. It doesn’t mean the rest of your online presence is.
Search and answer engines also weigh external signals: which sites link to you, which industry sites cite you, how many reviews mention your company positively, and how your Google Business Profile is set up. Building those signals takes ongoing work outside the website itself.
If you want to dominate AI answer engines, our Custom SEO Service handles the external pieces beyond the on-site fundamentals your HERO Website already nails.
What’s the fastest way to raise my AEO score this month?
Expand your FAQ pages. Every FAQ entry is structured as a question and an answer, which is the exact format AI engines prefer when picking sources.
Pick five questions your prospects actually ask, and write the answers in plain English. A few starter ideas:
- Owner questions: “How much do you charge to manage my rental?” “How do you screen tenants?”
- Tenant questions: “Do you accept pets?” “What documents do I need to apply?”
- Service area: “Where do you manage rentals?” “What neighborhoods do you cover?”
Add them to your HERO Website FAQ page, then run SEO Site Analysis again. Your AEO Quotient will move.
Featured Article: Becoming the Answer
The way people find a property manager is shifting fast. Five years ago, a prospect typed a query into Google and clicked one of the blue links at the top. Today, a growing share of them ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Copilot a question and read the AI’s summary instead. Many never click anything at all.
That changes what your website has to do. To stay visible, your site has to be structured as something an AI engine wants to cite as a source, not just a page that ranks in classic search results.
