Where do I start with Harmony? What’s the first step?
It depends on your role! We’ve created three Quick Start Guides tailored to different types of Harmony users:
- Those who mostly manage individual units, like houses, as an agent for other people.
- Those who mostly manage entire properties, like associations, storage facilities, commercial buildings, or apartment complexes.
- Those who exclusively manage their own units as a landlord.
Each guide walks you through the essentials, helping you get comfortable with the core processes in Harmony – so you can start managing with confidence from day one.
I use Harmony for maintenance management, but I want to start using it for accounting. How do I learn that piece?
Harmony U makes it easy to learn exactly what you need—without overwhelming you. Its “chunked” learning approach lets you focus on a single concept while still connecting you to related topics you’ll want to explore.
- Learning by video: Each major Harmony area includes at least two videos. Start with the Feature Overview, a quick 3–5 minute intro that gives you the fundamentals. Then dive into the Function Overview video (20–90 minutes), which acts like a full class on how to use that function effectively.
- Learning by reading: Articles include related topics at the bottom, so you can find exactly what you need and follow the links to build a complete understanding step by step.

- During onboarding: Keep a running list of questions and review them with your onboarding specialist during your scheduled meetings.
- After onboarding: You can request step-up onboarding whenever you’re ready to tackle a big next step. For example:
- Moving from marketing listings to running full CRM campaigns with prospects
- Expanding from basic work orders to full maintenance management, including work requests, vendor RFQs, suitability checks, key/access management, and inspections
- Transitioning from documents and statements to full accounting and payments
