Every property management company has a blind spot. You know what you sent to the listing networks. You know what your website says. You do not know what an owner or a renter finds when they go looking, because nobody has been able to show you.

That blind spot costs money in two places. Owners choose a competitor you never knew you were competing against. Vacancies run long because a listing never landed where you assumed it did.

HERO Horizon closes the blind spot. Horizon is a marketing audit platform. It goes out and looks at your company and at every place you market, scores what it finds, and hands you the evidence along with the next step.

Think of it as raising a periscope. You are still inside the business. You can finally see the surface.

Two Sides, One Platform

Horizon audits two things, and they serve different parts of your business.

Your company audit answers how prospective owners find and judge your management services. That is how you win new accounts.

Your listing audits answer how prospective renters find and judge each place you market. That is how you keep the accounts you already have, because an owner with a rented property renews.

Same platform, same login, two paths to growth.

Coverage: Where Renters Find It

Every listing audit splits in two. The first half is coverage, meaning where renters can find that exact listing. Coverage is built from three components.

Search visibility. Whether the exact address shows up in ordinary search, the way a renter would look it up.

Listing networks. Which rental sites carry the listing, weighted by reach. A listing on two small networks and a listing on the two largest score differently, because renters are not spread evenly across them.

AI visibility. Whether AI answers name the property when someone asks about rentals in your market, and which sources those answers cite. If an answer names three competitors and skips your listing, that is a coverage problem no syndication report will ever show you.

Quality: What Renters See

The second half is quality, meaning what a renter sees once they arrive. Three components again.

Photos and visual presentation. Image quality, and whether the visual coverage answers what renters want to look at before they inquire or apply.

Listing content. The facts, features, policies, and location details renters use to decide. Pet policy, parking, laundry, what is nearby. A missing answer is a renter who moves on to the next listing.

Conversion readiness. Pricing in context, renter trust signals, and a clear next step. A listing that does not tell a renter what to do next does not get the inquiry.

Keeping the two halves separate is the point. A single grade hides the thing you need most, which is what to work on.

A listing with strong quality and weak coverage is a good listing nobody sees. The fix is distribution.

A listing with strong coverage and weak quality is a weak listing shown to thousands. The fix is photos and content.

Both can carry the same overall grade. The work is opposite, and so is the conversation with the owner. Horizon keeps the two scores visible separately so you spend the week on the right problem.

Your Company Gets the Same Treatment

The company audit works the same way on a wider surface. Horizon checks search engines, maps, directories, marketplaces, and the AI answers owners now read instead of clicking through. It reports where your company shows up, what it looks like when found, and what is missing, ranked by what to fix first.

Horizon also helps you request and track Google reviews from your existing occupants and owners. Reviews are the one thing an owner reads before calling, and most companies collect them by accident rather than on purpose.

Your market coverage footprint shows the same picture geographically: where you appear across your service area, and the parts where you effectively do not exist. Most companies discover they are strong in the two or three neighborhoods where they started and thin everywhere they have expanded since.

When an owner asks what you would do for her property, a Prospect Report answers with real data from her own unit instead of a brochure about your company.

Every Score Leads to Evidence

A score you cannot verify is a score you cannot use.

Each of the six components links to what Horizon found. The search results. The listing pages. The AI answers and their citations. You open the source and see for yourself before anything goes to an owner.

Horizon also watches over time. Scan history shows movement, and alerts tell you when a listing drops off a network or something significant changes. A listing that quietly disappears reaches you as a notification instead of as a slow-lead week.

Proof You Hand the Owner

Scores are useful to you. Reports are what the owner sees. Horizon builds three, all under your branding.

  • Owner Report. For a current client with a vacancy. Reach, quality, recent progress, and the most useful next steps. Send it before she calls you.
  • Prospect Report. For an owner you want to win. Real data from her own property, alongside your services and your marketing plan.
  • Live Owner Report. A private link showing the latest result. The owner checks whenever she wants and stops calling you for status.

Getting Your Places In

There are four ways to load your units and properties into Horizon, depending on what you run.

  • Live sync from HERO Harmony, which keeps eligible places and owners aligned automatically
  • Import from supported PMS platforms and public listing sources
  • Import from CSV
  • Add a place manually

Once your places are in, portfolio views give you list, map, performance, coverage and quality matrices, prioritized opportunities, alerts, and scan history. You work the top of the opportunity list and let the rest wait.

What to Do Now

  1. Run a free scan on one United States address at horizon.heropm.com. No login, no payment card. A thorough scan takes up to five minutes.
  2. Create your free Horizon Starter account to save that scan and open the complete evidence.
  3. Run your company marketing audit.
  4. Bring in your portfolio, by live sync if you run Harmony.
  5. Work the top three opportunities on your worst-performing vacancy.
  6. Send that owner an Owner Report.

The Bottom Line

You cannot fix what you cannot see. Horizon shows you both halves of the picture, where you and your places are found and what people see once they get there, then tells you which half to work on first.

Every HERO PM member is eligible for a free Horizon Starter account on the login they already use.
