Harmony covers a lot of options in your occupant agreements, like renting a storage space or garage along with a condo, adding a golf membership to a vacation reservation, or adding a paid reserved parking space to a rental. However, there are a lot of things you may provide outside the box, and Harmony has the solution for those, too. We call them “Extras”.
Extras can be as simple as a crib rental or Disney tickets on a vacation rental, or a filter replacement or pest control service on an annual rental. Or they can be any manner of the creative and unique, there are really no limits.
You can define an unlimited number of extras for each occupant agreement type, and optionally charge any quantity on any agreement. Set extras as standard options available or defaulted on any new agreement, or as specific add-ons that can be selected to add to an existing agreement. Each extra has its own definition and rate, and tax configuration for taxable items.
Harmony also offers integrated extras provided by vetted partner companies. When a company wants to offer something to the residents/occupants of landlords and property managers, they can engage in our partner process to have this included as an integrated Harmony extra. When you add the extra to the occupant agreement, the partner’s fulfilment process is automatically invoked. This process may be something as simple as a notification to the partner, or as complex as establishing a subscription with the partner for the duration of the agreement.
You can also track and fulfill all extras through the provisioning report, which shows you all extras added, increased, reduced, or removed, with tracking of who processed or fulfilled each one and when. This allows you to make sure nothing slips through the cracks – that everyone who is paying for an extra is getting what they paid for.
